Great Tips for Outstanding Baby nursery Decor
Your baby’s nursery will obviously be one of the first places your baby receives sensory signals and is likely to spend almost the entire first few months between sleeping and quiet alertness. You can make baby’s nursery a calm and soothing environment while still offering stimulus to help her brain grow and develop. With each of these five steps you will make your baby’s nursery outstanding.
Tip 1; Finding the Serrenity
A basic theme of any baby nursery is one of calm and peaceful. Babies enyoy a calm and serene environment and will relax into the world around them. Consider using colours that encourage a peaceful atmosphere, such as cool greens, browns and blues. Also, consider other pastels, such as purples, pinks and mauves for the effect required.
Tip 2: Your Childs Gender
If you know the sex of the baby, think of the images you want to influence that child with. Whilst most people still lean towards blue for boys and pink for girls, baby bedding sets are designed with baby chic in mind. There are so many beautiful bright colours and patterns to choose from to help you design a gorgeous nursery you’ll want to show off to all the neighbours. Bright patterns and colours can also help in the development of baby’s brain
Tip 3: Understanding How Your Child’s Brain Develops
The brain of newborns and toddlers is continually developing and firing. Alot of the brain growth that happens before age two is very important. Red is the first colour your baby can see other than black and white. Try using strong , vibrant colours to stimulate the brain and encourage confidence. Also, consider other animals or images the could identify with as she grows.
Tip 4: Use a Transitional Theme
To avoid repainting and decorating your baby’s nursery as they transition into toddlerhood, you can choose a theme and that will transition well. If you are decorating with a baby animal jungle theme, then paint your walls a gentle green or brown as it shifts to a different theme better than themed wallpaper or murals.
Tip 5: Consider Accessories Carefully
Accessories in your nursery should be considered carefully as you don’t want them to be a hazard when baby become mobile and curious. Try using items that are functional in the colour or pattern of your baby’s nursery instead of choosing them just because they fit. This could include a wall mounted nappy holder, a lotion dispenser postitioned above the change table or a toy box which will grow with your child.
